STIR – FRIED BEEF WITH BELL PEPPERS AND MUSHROOMS

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices with the marinade ingredients. Mix well and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
2. Stir-Fry Vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the bell peppers and mushrooms, stirring occasionally until they are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, heat the remaining oil over high heat. Add garlic and onion (if using), stir for 30 seconds. Add the marinated beef in a single layer, allowing it to sear and brown on one side before stirring. Cook until the beef is just cooked through, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Combine and Serve: Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet with the beef. Stir everything together, and cook for an additional minute. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
5. Serve: Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
