Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare Ribs: Lay the pork ribs out on a large baking sheet coated with aluminum foil. Spread a generous amount of the honey garlic sauce on both sides of the ribs.
  4. Wrap and Bake: Tightly wrap the ribs with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
  5. Caramelize: Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C). Continue roasting the ribs uncovered for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and caramelized. Brush the ribs with any extra sauce from the baking sheet during this time.
  6. Rest and Serve: Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes after removing them from the oven before cutting. Toss with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.
