Lunchroom Ladies Brownies!

Ingredients:

1 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Brownie Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

In a mixing bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the cocoa until well combined.

Add the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the cocoa mixture. Mix everything together until you have a smooth batter.

If you prefer, fold in the chopped nuts to add a delightful crunch to the brownies.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared 9 x 13-inch pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Check them at 20 minutes to ensure they don’t overbake. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs clinging to it.

Icing Ingredients:

1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 cup can milk (regular milk is fine)
1/4 cup cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
Dash of salt
Icing Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, can milk, and cocoa. Mix everything together until well combined.

Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cocoa mixture, mixing well after each addition. Continue until you have a smooth and creamy icing.

Add a dash of salt to enhance the flavors of the icing.

Once the brownies have cooled, frost them generously with the delectable cocoa icing.
